A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Tokyo. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith Fujiwara Shigetaka in Early Edo era. Stunningly beautiful irregular zig-zag Gunome hamon tempered line pattern on blade. This blade was certified to TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society), the higher ranked certificate than standard. The name of smith and his location are inscribed on tang. Comes in complete set of antique ornate mounting including all metal fittings.
